Brief report and findings: Statistical critical ratio analysis using σ limits positively confirms that there is significantly better post-test scores than the pre-test scores in the experimental groups under the study. i.e., teacher-trainees of Sri Sathya Sai University who underwent the treatment of exposure to Education in Human Values, both directly through curricular subjects and indirectly as integral items, and the residential system of education has brought about tremendous transformation in their value pattern. This is clearly reflected in their analysis, understanding and clarification of values. It is suggested that value based education is the only panacea for all the ills in the society and this system could be adopted by all teacher education institutions in the country.
