RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE ANANTAPUR CAMPUS

The parents and the students must carefully go through the following and
are requested not to plead ignorance of these instructions later.

Parents should accompany the student for the admission without fail.

I: PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:-

1. Mess charges (June 2008 to March 2009) Rs. 7,500-00

2. Caution Deposit Rs. 500-00

(Will be refunded at the time of

Candidate's leaving the hostel)

3. College Uniform Sarees Rs. 1,300-00

4. Salwar Kameez Rs. 1,200-00

Total Rs. 10,500-00

5. Minimum balance to maintain

S.B. Account of the student in the

State Bank of India Rs. 500-00

Grand Total Rs.11,000-00

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. A State Bank of India Demand Draft with Bank Code: 10659 in the name of
the student for Rs.11,000-00 at the time of admission.

2. Demand Draft in the name of the Warden or the Principal will not be accepted.
3. Cash will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4. Apart from the amount mentioned above, some amount can be given to the
student for her Personal expenses like books etc.

5. The Local candidates can pay the amount by State Bank of India Pay Order.

Cash will not be accepted.



II: COLLEGE UNIFORM:-

1. The Saree is the dress permitted. No other dress is allowed to be worn. Students must get few sarees to wear during their stay in the hostel/college at Anantapur.
2. On certain weekdays uniform sarees have to be worn. These sarees will be given to the students in the month of July.
3. On Thursdays plain white saree is to be worn which should not be transparent.
4. Students must get at-least two plain white sarees with complete set at the time of admission. The saree should be without any design or border.
5. Two sets of salwar kameez are needed for yogasana classes at Anantapur.



III: PASSPORT / STAMP SIZE PHOTO:-

1. Students must get 10 passport size and 10 Stamp size photographs (Colour) with negatives at the time of admission.

2. The photos must be taken in saree with the saree palloo covered. (As it is worn in Puttaparthi)
3. Photos taken in salwar kameez or any other dress will not be accepted.
4. The photos are required for Bank A/c., Profile card etc.



IV: CERTIFICATES:-

1. Students are required to get the following certificates at the time of admission.

(a) Transfer (b) Conduct (c) Study and (d) Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed proforma.

2. The following certificates have to be submitted on or before 20/06/2008.
3. (a) Mark Sheet (b) Pass Certificate and (c) Caste Certificate
4. The above certificates have to be submitted in original and the student is required to have 6 attested xerox copies of the Mark sheet.
5. Failure to comply with the above can cancel the admission of the student.



V: VISITING DAYS AT ANANTAPUR:-

1. Only Mother and Father are allowed to visit their wards.
2. Brothers, Uncles, Men visitors and local guardian cannot visit the inmates.
3. Local guardians will be contacted in case of necessity.
4. Visiting day is on a Sunday once a month. The date will be intimated to the parents much in advance.



VI: VISITING AT PRASANTHI NILAYAM:-

1. Students will be taken to Prasanthinilayam for every festival. They will all stay in the hostel allotted to them. No one will be sent home.
2. The visiting time for the parents are from 10.00 am. to 11.00 am. (Soon after the bhajan).

They are not allowed to meet at other timings. Parents are requested to co-operate.

3. The parents are also requested not to crowd round the buses as the inmates reach Prasanthinilayam.



VII: VACATION:-

1. Students can go home only during vacation.

2. The college issue railway concession forms two months before the date of vacation.
3. Students are permitted to go home on special occasions like wedding ceremonies of own brother and sister, subject to warden's permission.
4. Air travel concession is also provided but the student must get the necessary form.
5. Every parent must come personally or send an authorized person to take their ward for winter and summer vacations.



VIII: PARCELS AND COURIERS:-

1. Parents are requested not to send any parcels or couriers containing expensive items like cameras, clothes, cash, ornaments etc.
2. Money should be sent to the students only by State Bank of India demand draft by registered post or online transaction.
3. The demand draft sent must be deposited by the student in her bank account which is to be opened at the time of admission at Anantapur. The student in the hostel should not keep excess of cash. She should deposit in her Bank Account.



IX: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

1. Parents to their wards need not give gold ornaments. If they do so it is at their own risk.
2. Direct speaking on the phone is not allowed when the parents call. Only messages will be received by the person in-charge and conveyed to the student later.
3. Parents are requested to tell the hostel authorities if their wards are suffering from any chronic diseases. This will facilitate proper and timely medical treatment.
4. Every candidate should bring bucket, mug, meal plate, glass, spoon, mattress, pillow and one dari (Jamkhana).

It is our earnest desire that the inmates will imbibe the values taught by Bhagawan Baba and earn His grace by following the discipline of the Campus.

X: NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE WITH THE STUDENTS:-

1. Walkman and CD-man, cassettes and CD's.
2. I Pods
3. Cell phones

The above mentioned items are not allowed to be kept with the students. Serious action will be taken against the student if these items are found with them.
